september in retro
it's been, what, a month since i last posted?
so much has happened in the past month, i have no idea what specifically to touch on. so, in a couple of soundbytes, my top ten moments from september:
1) return to work:
me- you want me to hire HOW MANY PEOPLE in one week?
tom- 21. but we didn't think we needed to hire anyone until just now! *gives me a shit eating grin*
me- ... i told you to hire at least 5 people while i was gone, gave you the positions, and even specced out applicants for you! what happened to that file?!
tom- ... you're awesome! i know you can do it!
2) palin:
frankly, it's enough to make me want a sex change. she will not represent me in the white house.
3) the economy:
well, as much as i want/have been looking for a new job, and as much as i'm pissed at my current one, it's nice to have job security. since they will never fire me. and since the corporation is sickeningly stable.
4) the economy pt 2:
wow. it's like the titanic, only slower.
5) the economy pt 3:
damn, am i glad i cleared away my credit card debt last year.
6) family:
you know when someone dies, there's that ugly, greedy family member? yeah, that would be my mother. she confiscated my grandmother's jewelry. i do not joke.
7) health:
i have cut my serving sizes in half. and no, i am not starving myself, margolia will confirm this. i'm just a pig, and after the overeating pig-out i had while sitting shiva and vacationing at disney i decided no more. i want to get healthy, i need to really be healthy and stop making excuses. *oink oink*
8) the heart:
one morning i woke up. i woke up and knew i was scared i wasn't strong enough, so i did the only thing i could- i went to my booboo and told her about it, and she kicked my ass damn hard and told me what my business was. i'd known what it was all along, truthfully... i just needed to hear it. and deserved the ass-kicking, i admit.

Best. Movie. Ever. *wants a yellow camaro with black racing stripes like whoa*
also, "Shia LaBeouf?" Best. Name. Ever. i want a pet chow i can bestow that name upon.
