/They did something new, and while it wasn’t necessarily as visceral as the comics stuff or made as much sense it worked onscreen./ - Indeed, I was worried because I'm very attached to the Civil War arc in the comics but the movie adaptation, while quite different and a lot more subdued and perhaps with fewer things at stake and a much more intimate perspective by necessity, worked well for me.

/Why is Vision dressed like a 1950s dad?/ - LOL!

And, ugh, don't get me started of what an utter waste of time it was that movie. Two hours I could have spent doing literally everything else... *shakes head*

I am very attached to the Civil War comics storyline too, for all I recognise its flaws. So I did go in with some trepidation, but I was happy to see my fears unfounded.

I had to get up to use the bathroom during Batman vs Superman. When I came back and asked my boyfriend what I've missed, he replied 'Literally nothing'.

I guess I'm a sucker for that kind of angst? I just can't resist the heart-break of Tony saying "It wasn't worth it" to Steve's dead body. T_T
Also, if there's one thing that arc did right was finally having someone question the rest of the Marvel superhuman population the way they've been doing with mutants all along. I mean, with or without the mutant gene the capacity for destruction is the same so I couldn't wrap my head around the different treatments mutant and non-mutant superheroes received, you know?

LOL, I think the only thing I loved about that movie was Wonder Woman? But then she wasn't there for much more than what we'd already seen in the trailer so it was kind of pointless. Also, those 5 seconds of Momoa's gorgeous floating hair. The rest was a jumbled mess with kinda interesting starting points and horrible, horribly boring execution... *shakes head*
