best week ever ((livejournal sucks))
So, Colleen and I unofficially declared last week as, the best week ever.
It all started out on Monday when we were like, hhm.. our room is really messy, we should clean it.. So as we're cleaning our room, I'm like, We should rearrange our room so we have more space. And Colleen is like, yeaah, let's do it So.. we move all our shit around so that Colleen's bed is against the window, mine is still in the same spot, and our 2 desks are up against the wall. ((This took ALL afternoon and night)) We were cool with that, but then Colleen was like, I'll loft my bed, and we can have even MORE space. So on Wednesday they came and lofted her bed. Then we pushed mine under hers.. But it's not under it like a bunk bed.. It's like in an L Shape.. So when I sleep only my feet are under her bed. It's cool. Then we also put my desk under her bed. And now I can actually get to my closet.
Also on Wednesday, I'm sitting here putting more music onto my MP3 player when I suddenly start getting an error message. So I unplug it, and my MP3 player like won't turn on. I was seriously about to cry. I went downstairs and got a tiny screwdriver from RA Dave, because he's our hero, and I unscrewed it and took the back off.. but there was just a bunch of wires and such and I didn't know what to do, so I put the back back on and sent an email to Dell. About 10 minutes later I get a call from Joshua Sularski asking me if I'm in my dorm, I said yes and he said, well I'm standing outside so I'm coming to visit you. He came in and I was like, Josh My MP3 player, It's broken. Needless to say, Josh the computer geek ((he called himself that)) fixed it. So, yay for Josh.
On Thursday I had A&P lab, just like I do every Thursday. Except this Thursday, I got a good grade on the quiz we got back, and I also kicked the shit out of the quiz we took. Hell yeah. lol. So then we get to Friday, the day we had been waiting for all week. My Mom & Heath were coming up for parent's weekend. So.. Friday morning we wake up at 8AM And take Heather's car. We go downtown because we wanted to buy these cool shelf things for our room, and also claim our free shit. ((snickers bars, coke's, and $5 from a lotto ticket.)) After stops at Wal-Mart, the Dollar store, Bed Bath & Beyond, AND Wegmans, we accomplished our mission and headed back to campus. ((all of this with Heather's car still in one piece)) We assembled the shelf thingys which are awesome, quickly ran to class which we both only had for an hour, and came back here to wait for my Mom & Heath. ((So have I mentioned how AWESOME our room looked at this point? Yeah, it's pretty hott)) My Mom & Heath finally got here around 1PM. We were starving, so we went to Collegetown bagels which was delicious. Afterwards, Colleen & I wanted to climb the new rock wall, so we went to the fitness center while my Mom went and checked in her hotel. The rock wall is hella cool and I can't wait to climb it later this week. Then we went out to dinner ((Boatyard Grill)). It was Me, My Mom, Colleen, Heath, Ross & his parents. It was a good time. ((Minus the part when Heath got coffee spilled on her)).
The next day we got up early and My Mom, Heath & I went to the big mall in Syracuse. It was cool, bought a few shirts and stuff. THEN we came back here and Heath was like, let's put the pictures on your computer and look at them, and I was like "not right now, we'll do it later" and my Mom was like "no, I wanna see them" So I was like okay, okay.. So I'm putting them on, and I notice this one pic of a car in our driveway.. The same car that my Mom had told me to look at online a few days earlier to see if I liked it.. So I'm like OMG YOU BOUGHT A NEW CAR!!!! So yeah, I gots a new car! It's a 2002 Honda CRV ((white)). Oh, it's so pretty... lol... Back to the weekend.. We went to see Grease which was really good! My Mom & Heath left Sunday around 12ish.. But yes, it was an amazingly awesome week/weekend. The end. :)
