Anniversary
My Mac and I have been together for 6 months now. I figured it was time to discuss our relationship. There have been ups, there have been downs, but I think that we have really made some steps in our relationship, and I only see it blossoming in the future. I have made some realizations though.
- No matter whether you have a Mac or a PC, your computer is going to have problems. Macs are not the crash free God sends they are often described as. I have had to take my computer in three times to get fixed. On that note...
- If it's service you want, Apple is above any other computer company. Everytime I took my computer in, they said it would take three days to fix, which for me is like 2 weeks in people years. Each time they would call back an hour later and tell me my computer was ready.
- Open source programming is where it's at. No more paying for large programs, and people are always updating them to make them faster and better.
- Making the switch from PC to Apple was fairly easy. These days almost all programs can run on both machines.
- I loaded Windows onto my Mac for a bit. I hated it.
