i have taken it upon myself to further clarify this matter just in case anyone was confused.
i own rebecca despite the fact that i am married. some time ago, a law was passed that allowed married women to keep private property, property that was attained prior to the marriage, in their own name. no, there is no joint ownership of rebecca, and i will not be putting her up for sale any time soon.
