Number 12, Grimmauld Place

Dec 11, 2006 15:46

Once upon a time, during a boring lecture, I happened to ask my friend magda2em to draw something for me. Specifically, the hall of Number 12, Grimmauld Place as I imagined it. And my dearest MM did. For me! *squee*

Being generous that she is, she's allowed me to link to the picture:

magda2em , thank you so much! ♥ For you I've just learned how to make a picture into a link. That says something ;-)

And here goes something of my own. Written on a sunny spring day.

12 GRIMMAULD PLACE

There were curtains
but no windows
to let out the darkness
There was a door
but no exit
so you could run away
from the shrill silence
echoing with voices of malice
A prison, not a home,
the house held out its hands
for you

poem, seriously, sirius, art link
