Last night I took a bunch of pictures at about 1 am after I was done rehearsing with a group for directing. They turned out thusly.
Today I forgot that I had the camera set at maximum exposure to capture those night shots without using a flash. The end result is that almost everything I took was blurry and overexposed. Most of them ended up something like this.
I'll give you some of the ones that didn't end up completely destroyed.
Walking to school.
Cameras cause people to want to open their mouths crazily.
Casey.
Kevin.
Sara, but not Whitney.
Sean
Caroline, but not Dan.
Not Nikki
Not Lauren, maybe Megan? I don't know if that counts.
At some point Marissa offered to buy everyone lunch, because she has like three hundred dining dollars left and the semester is coming to a close. So free food was had by all.
Zac decided that he needed to keep up our record of open mouths. I really like the blue lighting, and it actually didn't end up all blurry because the light was already pretty dim.
And so food was eaten.
Later today it was time for swimming!
Can you tell that she is trying (unsuccessfully) to escape the picture?
After swimming I discovered what was wrong with the camera and then fixed the exposure.
THE CLARITY!
One quick shot of my wet self and it was time to drive home.
And so ladies and gentlemen, that was my day in a photographic nutshell. hopefully in the future I will remember to be mindful of the camera's settings before snapping off 40 or so blurry, unusable, images.
I'm thinking about messing around with the formatting of the page. The white is too harsh a background to look at photos I feel. Don't be too surprised if weird colors start appearing and changing as I try to find a scheme that works.
