An update!
Well, I am quite guilty of not updating my LJ for a very long time. So, I'll try to summarize what's happened since my last post.
- I found out that I am likely to be rejected from grad school in the coming days. So I am going to postpone graduation to make myself eligible for scholarships for my Japan program.
- "Spring Break" was OK. Most of the time I spent fixing computers for others. I fixed up the computer we had in the basement and sold it to our neighbor, and then fixed up my mom's old Mac. Now it has 24MB of system RAM and 16MB of video RAM because it is the only old 90MHz PowerMac silly enough to have a Voodoo3 as the video card.
- I bought some DVDs, which I haven't had a chance to watch yet. Bulletproof Monk, Underworld and Tomb Raider. They were all cheap (the most expensive one was $10), so I don't wanna hear anyone say "You were ripped off!" I have plenty of sucky movies I probably spent more on :P
- I rode on Amtrak for the first time last week to get home, and for the second time on the way back. I went with Andre. It was a lot more fun than other ways to get home.
- I'm pretty happy with how things are going in general. I've decided to take everything as a potentially good thing, including the graduate school rejection.
Anyway, I can't think of much else to say here. So I will just stop :)
