OK, as the temperature gets colder, my CPU gets warmer. I think it's about to reach the point where my PC will shut down automatically- I don't get it. It could be that the interface material isn't doing the trick, which sucks. I've got other parts I'll probably try throwing in to see if it fixes the problem. What really puzzles me is the CPU

Dang it. I thought the comment got posted. Well, my motherboard was reporting that my CPU was at 62 degrees C (about 144 degrees F), so I finally said "OK, fine. This has to be fixed." So I toss in my old heatsink and voila. 40 C. Stupid heatsink from hell.
