[Today is just another really... hot... day in Luceti. It's exhausting, and it makes working on his song that much more difficult. Elliot doesn't spend much time at the piano before he decides he can't take it anymore, then heads to the kitchen in search of something cold to drink. Maybe he'd change into clothes that were more appropriate for this kind of weather...

[Leo resists the urge to take a look at what Elliot's been doing at the piano (though he can guess; it's hard to keep secrets from someone who practically stays by your side during your every waking hour) as he hears the sound of the refrigerator opening. It's one of these times that he actually does appreciate all this...modern technology, that's for sure.

Either way, he sounds much more upbeat than usual. He is talking to Elliot after all.]

Are you looking for something?

[Elliot turns when he hears his servant speak up. It's not that he hasn't noticed how oddly upbeat Leo has been all morning-he's just been trying to... ignore it. It makes him kind of uncomfortable. He gives him a very simple (and perhaps obvious) answer.]

I'm thirsty.

[Coming up to stare at the fridge from behind Elliot's shoulder. Really, he knows the contents of the fridge because he helped stock it.]

We have lemonade. And some juice.

[isntyourfriend]

[He steps out of the way, vaguely gesturing toward the fridge.]

Lemonade.

[...he was going to pour it himself, but since Leo's here, he might as well do it for him.]

Mm. [He reaches for the pitcher and with the other, for one of the glasses beside the fridge. He's done this often enough, after all.]

I made sure that they didn't put too much sugar in it.

I-I don't mind either way.

[No, Leo's right. He knows him so well. ...it's a little embarrassing.]

Of course you do. [No one knows you better, Elliot. Ever.] Here.

Thank you. [No protests or anything. He just accepts the glass and takes a drink.] ...that's better. It's too hot outside.

[And he'll just watch. With a fairly amused look.]

It's hot inside as well.

It's worse outside.

[...but he'd kind of wanted to go for a walk. Darn.]

Only if you don't have an umbrella. The sun's what's making it really hot.

Reading. But I'm almost done with the book, so I'll need to go to the library again.
