If God Is A DJ
I opened my big fat mouth and volunteered to be in charge of picking the music for my program's Halloween night thing. Which actually falls on the 20th- odd I know, but 20th is our last day of the semester and it's basically just a cause to celebrate.
So, now I am plagued with anxiety and stress. I don't even know where to begin to pick songs. I don't want people judging me and my music! I don't want them not dancing.
This is harder than it looks.
I initally wanted to put in people like Kaiser Chiefs (I'm listening to them too much), Franz Ferdinand, LCD Soundsystem, etc .. but now I think twice because I don't think it'll go down well. So now I am rethinking my whole strategy, and trying to remember those songs from the past that everyone can enjoy. Freaking must do research, look at old Billboard charts. !!
The real Halloween plans are so spine-tingling though. Mambo and TAG on the same night. Oh my. That, is love.
