I am freaking hungry. Thank god that there's a huuuuuuge steamboat dinner being prepared now as it is my dad's birthday today. The old man is 50, and he can't believe it himself. I tell him that I turn 20 in August and he just smiles and wonder where the time has gone. He repeats himself, "I can still remember when I was 16 and walking around in Seremban.." Repeat. Repeat.
Great news on the work front. Will be starting classes at Plaza Berjaya tomorrow, and it's on for 3 days! After that I will have proper shift hours and WILL START GETTING PAID. Ilovebeingpaid. I'm making it a priority to check out Borders at Times Square tomorrow during lunch break, as it is the largest bookstore in Malaysia and the idea of being surrounded by so many books is orgasmic.
The weekend that just passed was so enjoyable. My friend threw a party on Saturday because she was turning 21 and it was SO FUN. Fantastic food (already a big plus in my books), and the dancefloor was thoroughly enjoyable. Photos will be up when I get them from my friend.
What is happiness? Happiness is those fleeting moments when everything in life starts to fall where they're supposed to fall.
