I honestly do not know. Personally, I would not trust the shepherd's words save when it comes to sheer numbers -- that we lost a clue, regardless of whether it pointed to a wolf or not. ... that said, it may be better to try the other method first. But we will undoubtedly lose the safe sheep if we succeed.
