So I saw Brokeback Mountain last night. I will say that I liked it, that it was pretty good, but not great. It's not everything people have been saying it is. It's very pretty, and quite well-written and -acted, but it moves too slowly and is just kind of off in a way. It is successful in that you barely acknowledge the fact that they're gay by the end, and that their relationship is a lot more emotional than sexual. But somehow that makes you not really care in the end that they can't be together. Kristi said that if they weren't gay, the movie would have been really boring, which is kind of true. But it was still good.

Otherwise, nothing doing. I work at Abercrombie a whole bunch now, folding clothes and whatnot. Yesterday I hung out with a girl Sheena for a while in the fitting rooms area. It was nice to meet somebody else with a sense of humor about their job and the clothing. Most everybody that works there is really nice, and pretty cool, but they're also all kind of lame in that Abercrombie way. Like, the 30-year-old managers wearing ripped jeans--you're too old for that. Anyways, Sheena hates the clothing just as much as I do, so we bonded over that and Project Runway for a while.

I go home next Wednesday, hopefully and probably by plane.
