Can anyone tell me more about how to send letters back to my home dimension? Hei said it's possible to send mail, somehow? My brother's gotta be tearin' his hair out by now, I probably better write him a note explaining the whole Giant Gate of Doom thing.

*sheepish grin* It is rather ridiculously large, isn't it? Took me months to get used to. Even now, I really don't think I'd be able to live here if it were just me.

Oh, that mail thing... I hope it still works, you know, I haven't tried since Alfons came back a few months ago... um, strangely enough, if you are very specific with the name and address of who you want to send it to, and put it in the mail... um, it just sort of goes through, somehow. Sometimes with several interesting postmarks on it. ...If it still works.

I don't know about creepy... I used to spend hours and hours here by myself during the day... it would just be really lonely, I think, if no one else was here at the end of the day. ...But these days there's nearly always someone else at any time of the day... it's nice. *smiles* You're welcome, it's no problem at all, really. And thank you, there are always things to do whenever you have a few free hours. *tries to think of things he can do that won't injure him* ...I don't think the silver's been polished in about a year. And there are always things to be dusted. Or if you'd like to be outside, there are always weeds to pull. *sighs, looking around* ...Goodness... I've been here for a little over a year now....

*raises an eyebrow* Grim? *smiles comfortingly* Really Mal, I'm sure he'll be relieved to hear from you. How were you supposed to know you could just send him a letter?

Better than just sittin' around, though. And I can do dishes or cook and that kind of stuff, if you need.

*smiles* I know what you mean. Ren used to tease me about how spotlessly clean I keep this place... but really, what else am I supposed to do all day? Dishes would be wonderful... and I would love to have some help cooking.

Well, all the forks and knives and spoons in the kitchen... kitchens. And I think any candleholders around the house are silver.... And I can get you some silver polish and some old rags and sponges. You rinse the silver, cover it with polish, rub off the tarnish, rinse it off again, then dry it. It's pretty easy, actually. *laughs a little* No, Ren, R-E-N... he's a friend of mine. *slightly sad smile*
