Sorting Your Life

So I've discovered that sorting legos into different colors, types, usages, and connecting them together in and ordererd fashion is quite...soothing. Which is also disturbing. Guess that proves my obsessive compulsive nature. Giving myself a strucutred goal to said sorting helps.

I found myself actually looking forward to getting home from work so I could sort legos. That's pretty weird, even for me. Ah well.

The march for the 3917 pieces I need to complete the Teknomeka continues. That's more peices than an Imperial Star Destroyer (which iis about 3500).

Designing this thing from the existing plans and modifying them is going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait until I've go all the stuff I need to finish up the original. I'll post some pictures or something.

In other news, Altered Carbon (by Richard K. Morgan) was awesome. I'm about half way through Broken Angels and enjoying it as well. I think I like how he's exploring what and who the Martians were. I've always liked books that go into the culture and artifacts of some ancient spacefaring civilization (Precursors, Ancients, First Ones, Iconians, Leghek, etc).

Morgan's writing reminds me a lot of early Neal Stephenson (ala Snow Crash).

End of Line.
