I know this shouldn't be a news flash but I am coming realize it more and more. Politics, especially those in the states, is all about media presense.
Platform doesn't matter, politics doesn't matter. The party head is just the PR guys and the party whole will be doing the work behind the leader. It is like Transmetropolitian all over again.
The Election down in the states slated for later this year frightens me a lot.
