I know I worked with Kewazu, who blew everybody's minds with his slap-bass/heavy guitar/vocals/drums one man band set (seen briefly here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKjpf1ZtBDY ) and he performed and THEN partied and did indeed get drunk off his ass. If Dragoneer got his work done first I figure that's his affair...
Me, I haven't drunk in like seventeen years, but that's strictly MY affair, and just means I understand the mindset pretty well ;) so I regrettably cannot pursue the fine tradition of constaff being drunk off their ass. I guess I'll just continue to try and help people and make the con run better, because that's my drug of choice now :D
Well, that and KO's cappuccinos in the morning. YUM. :)
Seriously, though. I did the same thing this year. Hardly had any adult beverages at all. A little on Fri. evening, some on Sat. night (after I made a wild 5 gal. punch for the BAP), and practically nothing at all on Sunday.
I guess I was giving my liver a break this year, though I really hadn't planned it that way. Must've had more work to do than I thought I did. I dunno. *shrug*
