Clothing/Appearance:
What you see in the icons. Mismatched, faded, mended old clothes; old, dented armour on the shoulders, arms and hips as well as leg wrappings from the shins down. There's some appearance info in the cheat sheet.
If, say, he were naked, what you'd see is a tall boy with almost no fat on him; he's got a lot of scars on his body: burns, cuts, the occasional badly-healed broken limb. He has a burn scar on his left side and one on his right hip, long and trailing down to the back of his thigh. He's very limber and flexible; if you shake his hands or something, the soles of his feet and his palms are very rough and weathered.
Jet's hair is very soft, but thin and tangles horribly, which is why it's always that big, floofy mess. He's not really used to regular bathing, but since he turns into a dog when splashed with cold water, he's gotten more and more used to semi-regular warm showers. He uses really basic, scentless soap that he nicks from Catherine.
Also: EYEBROWS. Jet has big, expressive eyebrows. LOOK AT THOSE THINGS. They are amazing and very noticeable.
Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language:
Quick note: Jet is SUSPICIOUS and DEVIOUS and PARANOID. He views the Director as The Enemy, and the Dangerous Ladies (Azula, Ty Lee and Mai) are only less of a threat here because after over a year, he's finally convinced that they are, in fact, here against their will. He also spies a lot; he spent much of his first year here in the trees, scoping the place out. So chances are, he'll at least recognize your character as someone new/been here a while/etc. (NOTE: Jet isn't some spy godmoder; I will always ask if it's okay if Jet knows such-and-such about your character beyond "oh hey I have/haven't seen you around before"; if I cross a line, always tell me and we'll fix what I did. ♥)
SO. If he's meeting you for the first time, and you haven't spent a lot of time around either the Dangerous Ladies or a lot of counsellors (there are exceptions, but most counsellors to Jet are on the Director's pay roll and therefore suspicious), then Jet will immediately be fairly friendly! His default approach will be friendly and helpful.
IF he hasn't met you face-to-face but noticed you spend a lot of time with the Dangerous Ladies/counsellors, he'll be suspicious of you and more cautious and guarded than usual.
Assuming it's the first category there, Jet will be nice, friendly, approachable, but at the same time, pretty confident or even smug. Not in a "I am better than you" manner so much as a "I'm so damn awesome" manner. He'll be pretty smooth, especially if you're, say, a pretty girl or any tsundere ever. If you interest him (you've got an attitude, you're a good fighter, you seem to have potential)? Chances are, you may get the feeling that you're being scouted and/or checked out. You may feel like you're being flirted with! ALL OF THIS IS HAPPENING. Jet's a natural charmer and he knows it.
Now, Jet may appear like he's being open and giving you a lot of info - Fire Nation killed my family, I'm a Freedom Fighter, I've done bad things, Zuko's my hot boyfriend - and you're correct. But he's not too open, and he's not giving you any deep personal information. He gives the impression of confiding in you without really doing so. Jet's more into giving impressions of things that actually giving them, if you will - openness, honesty, trust.
His body language is indicative of this! He won't get touchy-feely with you, not right away, but he'll definitely be in your personal bubble. He'll be close - I wanna reiterate this, because it's important, Jet gets in your personal bubble - but he won't touch you a lot - maybe a hand on your shoulder for a moment, but he won't really touch you much. As he gets to know you, he'll touch you more (especially if your character is touchy-feely themself OR it irritates them); if your character is super touchy-feely, he'll most likely let you. Anything too intimate will be redirected - ie, a guy's arm around his waist will be redirected to the shoulder. If he feels that the touch is creepy or too much, he'll be direct and say "no".
Final note: Jet also makes a lot of hand gestures and facial expressions when he talks - they aren't huge, expansive gestures unless he's agitated, but they're a little out of his personal space and probably in yours.
Current Residence:
He used to live in a tree, but camp TREENAPPED IT so now he has a tent. It'll be near the Avacabin.
Typical Daily Routine:
Up early, catch breakfast; after that, it depends on the day. At the very least, he'll check on Zuko once or twice if he's doing something without him; usually, however, he'll follow Zuko around or check out camp. He likes to spend time deep in the forest, exploring; he'll also spy on the Mess Hall and anywhere he thinks there might be SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY!!1!
Favourite Haunts:
The tree outside Zuko's cabin window. Deep in the forest. The hospital (note: not so much a favourite as he's there a lot).
Makes own bed?:
Nope. Although if Zuko's been staying over, he'll make the bed.
