Equivalence? I suppose it's something like not being more or less than each other, right? Or is that just being equal? The dictionary here says that the two involved subjects are interchangeable. But if equivalence is just about being equal, that's more than being interchangeable. I mean, I know that Christopher and Cat aren't interchangeable, but they've always seemed equally powerful to me.
Even if Christopher is more annoying.
And then what about Klartch and Syracuse? They aren't the same at all but I think they have an equal place each in Cat's life. He takes such good care of them. This book also mentions that if both properties are true then if false both ought to be false but that just sounds like common sense. Why would they bother to write that down in the first place? I don't know if there's a right or wrong answer to this. I rather like the idea that more than one person could be right.
I don't much like the idea of being interchangeable with...anything. It's a bit too close to being replaceable.
You could have replaced me with a chair at home and mum wouldn't have noticed. She and Uncle, they noticed Anthea going because she was useful to them, even if they were just using her.
I do hope that Gabriel's school will help me to be useful.
Supposing I ever get to go.

Oh..er.....Cat, Christopher...I think the hole in this wall is getting bigger...
...and before you ask, I did try to fix it.
And this is what happened. Maybe I'll just stick with my prints...
[ooc; Chris and Cat, Conrad just tried to fix like this little patch of a hole in the wall where it's gotten curved---the part they tried to repair all that while back.......it is now vaguely the size of a small cave mouth 8C ... nice draft. ]
