today, for the first time, i had to wear my hoodie. pulling it over my head and eyes, ala miss marcello ( :) ) just wanting to hide, sort of. curl up on the futon, my girls by my side, and just...BE. i never do that. i'm constantly running, or talking, or thinking. erin and i joke that we're wastes of life on saturdays but...this "wasting"? necessary for the soul.

simon and garfunkel are also necessary for the soul. i have decided this.

but fall? leaves are starting to change. there's a chill at night. and apple cider. mmmm, apple cider.

visiting emily next weekend, thank God. there's a harvest festival. more fall. i love it :)
excited to see her.
