Cranbrook Dollar Days

Sep 29, 2005 10:04

We left work yesterday around 3:45 to head up to Cranbrook Liquors. They were doing their annual "Dollar Days" sale, every product on their shelves were priced $1 over cost for 2 days. It was freakin' awesome. We went up to see some of our displays that our sales men had set up. There was supposed to be a 25 case display of our new Quara, the one w/ the llama, and a big Voga case, the one we're getting sued over and probably going to be shut down for… but that's a whole different story.

So we get there, after dealing w/ an hour of traffic, and the place is a mad house. There's sales reps in all the isles giving out samples of their wines to everyone. The store had borrowed shopping carts from Food Lion, and everyone had one FILLED to the brim w/ wine and liquor. People spent HUNDREDS of dollars at a time. People drive up and down from all over just to stock up at this place. People were buying are ridiculously reduced priced Vodka BY THE CASE. We sold about 50 cases in total of Voga, and about the same for Quara and a couple other brands. It was great :)

I bought about $120 worth of stuff myself, Hangar One Mandarin Vodka, Effen Black Cherry Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liquor, Grand Marnier, Malibu, and a bottle of Primitivo.

I created the case card, designed the cases, and did a little work on all the labels

Buying by the cart full. The vodka in the front, 3 tall brown bottles,
and bright the red bottle are all our products :)
