I'm in the music office doing stuff on the computer when I should probably be doing a job or something. I guess there isn't that much to do right now, I'm just waiting until 2:45 when we have to setup for the jazz bands. I also have some more things to do for the junior high percussionists but I can do that any time.
Its getting really hot today and may even reach 90! Good practice for Texas because I see that its in the 90's all this week and it said even 100 and 101 this weekend! That's gonna be so crazy!!!
I'm super excited about going to Texas. I think about it all the time and I've told people here that I'm going to see a friend. I'll get to tell them all about it when I get back and probably show them a shiny new engagement ring too.
I also realized that Denton is really close to Fort Worth and that is where the University of North Texas is and it has a ginormous music department where I'd absolutely LOVE to go. Soooo, if I got accepted, I could live with Jeremy and go to school there! That'd be so frikken exciting! WEEEEEEE!!!!
Band camp is crazy. I keep getting lost. I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. Sometimes it gets frustrating. Especially when Bolstad wants me to play bass clarinet in the senior high band but I REALLY REALLY don't want to do it. GRR. I have no intentions of playing that stupid thing anymore. BLAH.
So, after we set up, its recreation time and do you know what that means?!?!?
ULTIMATE FRISBEE TIME!!!!!
I'm soooo tired. I wish I could just take a nap. Instead I'll run around for 2 hours. WOO.
