Ok, I admit it...I've been bad (so bad) about posting. Just slap me on the wrist and we'll call it even, m'kay? ;o)
I've been uber busy. I have an internship at a small school district north of Philadelphia. It pays peanuts (as all internships in education do!) but it is nice. I like the people I work with; though occasionally it seems like the lunatics are running the asylum (but it seems all school districts are like that). I am also working on my dissertation; if everything goes according to plan, I will be able to propose in mid-December, start analysis in January (all data has already been collected), and finish the bugger by Mayish. However, everything going according to plan is a pretty big if. Pray for me everyone. :o)
I passed my comprehensive tests (whew!) which felt wonderful. Oh, and I'm planning my wedding. It'll be July 17th at Mountain Lake resort...this weekend I'm meeting with my maid of honor (my sister) and one of my bridesmaids to talk gown color. Unfortunately Laura is in Seattle, so I'll have to retroactively include her. :o) I'm thinking dark red (think burgundy or merlot) with bright green for an accent color. I'll see how that works this weekend. I have an idea about what I want for a gown, but of course I have to try it on to make sure it doesn't look hideous on me :o).
I know I owe at least some of you an engagement story, and that will be next, I promise...and it won't take 6 months this time, I promise.
