Avatar episodes 45-50
Argh, why did episodes 50-51 have to leak onto the Internet THE DAY AFTER my new Internet month, instead of when I had several hundred MB still free to spend? X_x
Meh. Downloaded 50 anyway. Resisting 51, for now at least.
ANYWAY. My usual several-cents-worth of opinions on episodes....
45 - The Beach
I was looking forward to this, but it really wasn't that great. The campfire scene was painfully overacted (a pity, because it was interesting) and the ending really really annoyed me.
I did like the bit where Zuko went off on his own and went to the old beach house. That was well done.
46 - The Avatar and the Firelord
Yay exposition! And the fact that Zuko is Roku's grandson is interesting...
47 - The Runaway
Filler. Meh.
48 - The Puppetmaster
Creepy.
I'm wondering if Katara will end up being able to use the bloodbending trick for a more... good purpose. Like, she'd be able to use it as a long-distance way of pulling someone out of danger, or something. I think it'd be appropriate if she could alter such a nasty skill to be something good instead.
49 - Nightmares and Daydreams
Okay, that was just trippy. And they just LOVE torturing the shippers, don't they?
50 - Day of Black Sun: The Invasion
ZOMG AANG KISSED KATARA SQUEE HAPPYSPAZZ~~~~~
*is a very very happy shipper*
And FINALLY Zuko is turning good! IT'S ABOUT TIME!
Nice to see so many old characters back too, but.... Haru. WHY, CHARACTER-DESIGNER-PERSON, WHY?! ;___;
OH, and I'm totally shipping Duke/Toph now.

Ooh, and FmA chapter 77 is out now too. Do I download now, or wait for scanslations?
