This year, I am thankful for H/W subtext :D I thought it was about time I started vidding again, so here it is. A House/Wilson vid set to Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes" and featuring clips from Season 4 of House. Enjoy!
um....could i offer some constructive criticism? please?
i think there was too much lip flap for the vid to be enjoyable. it's really distracting to sit and watch a video where the characters are constantly moving their lips, but you can't hear what they're saying. so the song was an excellent choice and your insert of the "iloveyou" line was good, but i personally thought you could have eliminated half of the speaking parts, and replaced them with a lot more...i dunno, looks perhaps? intense walking...or just something that didn't involve quite so much awkward silent conversations your audience couldn't hear or understand.
on the whole though your editing was pretty good. your scenes went in pretty good time to music and your cutting to other scenes was pretty well managed. better than most.

hmm... i actually can see your point there. guess i don't watch those episodes enough. ^_^ and i wouldn't say i didn't enjoy it, it was still a very well done video, and you really worked with what you had. i know house doesn't exactly leave vidders very much room to do our thing. too bad it's so damn good....

Sendspace isn't working for me at the moment, but I'll try to get something up soon. Have you ever used vixy.net ? Basically all you have to do is go there, paste in the youtube link to the video, pick a download format, and the site converts it for you and downloads it onto your computer.
Yay. This video actually makes me like Season Four more. Whoa.
Slow-moving video, fun clip choices, not as much as manipulation as I usually prefer. But for what it is, a music fan video, it's very good. Thanks for including the "I Love You" because that clip made my life. Also, good idea to end with the eyesex and also-- Velvet Underground! YAY!
