[x] wow...it's been forever since i've updated on here. i don't really know what provoked me to make this update, boredom maybe...who knows.
life is life i suppose. I honestly can't complain. If i did complain, i would just be a little bitch. Work is going......well, it's work. what can i say? it is good to work with my best friend every other day.
the band is progressing very well. it looks like we may be taking things to a new level. our last batch of recorded material, which will be completed within the week, is, in my opinion, leaps and bounds beyond anything we have done before. i honestly am very proud to say i am a part of what we are doing and i feel other people will catch on to it. very catchy, rockin' music. should be up on an mp3 site soon. i will keep the interested updated.
other than that, life is going well i suppose. i've been buying some really great music lately.
Here are some CD's I highly recommend getting:
*** Hot Hot Heat - Elevator
If you like really catchy, fun music you can dance to then this is the CD for you. I highly suggest it. If you're into downloading before you buy, then try out 'Running Out of Time' 'Goodnight Goodnight' and 'Jingle Jangle'
*** Louis XIV - The Best Little Secrets Are Kept
Ok...this is probably my favorite CD at the moment. Definitely for fans of rock and roll the way it is supposed to be: drugs, sex, and rock and roll and more sex. This CD is so raunchy and unapologetic and at the same time beautiful and catchy as hell. 'Louis XIV' 'Finding Out True Love Is Blind' 'A Letter to Dominique' 'Hey Teacher' are some of my favorite tracks.
*** Robbers on High Street - Tree City
I had the pleasure of seeing them at the Nick with Ambulance LTD. (listen to this band!) and VHS or Beta (shake your ass off to this band). For fans of Spoon, Ben Folds, and The Beatles. Very catchy. Great piano work.
I've also had the thrill of finding some new Oasis tracks on the internet. You may have heard 'Lyla' on the radio. The new stuff is fucking brilliant. Oasis is back, but honestly, to me they never left. Americans just have really shitty taste in music. Other upcoming bands to note: Bloc Party, The Bravery, and Kaiser Chiefs.
Well, i'm out of shit to say...
sorry it's been so long since i've updated.
