So I'm going to start making it a point in updating this deal. *Ahem* First of all...AAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN BADGER MARCHING BAND! WAY TO FUCK IT UP AND GET ON THE CHANCELLOR'S BAD SIDE! Aw man am I glad I didn't do band. I just had the feeling something bad would become of it. So yeah what else this week? Ummm yeah homecoming was kick ass...especially the dudes with the hateful UW marching band t-shirts. I love how they acted all like "fuck yeah! BAND!" then when the band actually came out they were like "HEY EVERYBODY! IT'S THE BAND! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! HEY! HEY BAND! THE SCHOOL HAS FOUND SOMETHING THEY AGREE WITH CHANCELLOR WILEY ON...YOU GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF DICKS! YOU FREAKIN' PEDOPHILES, CHANCELLOR'S PUT YOU ON PROBATION LIKE THE CROOKS YOU ARE!" Don't get me wrong...ya'll know I thoroughly (for the most part) enjoyed band in high school, but uhhhh...yeah if you knew what happened, you'd boo the band off the field as well at homecoming. Seriously, everybody hates Chancellor Wiley for whatever reason, but they agree on him punishing the band. It was alright though, come fifth quarter (it's a half hour after the game when the band takes the field and plays band stand shit like On! Wisconsin, varsity, If You Wanna be a Badger, Time Warp (and yes everyone in the stands is expected to do the dance), the Chicken Dance repeatedly to the point where you can't move as fast as the band is playing (and yes you are expected to polka in a circle with a partner in the stands), Shout!, Tequila (for which there is a dance that looks hilarious from the field looking up at the fans) and my personal favorite Beer Barrel Polka) it was still pretty good. Maybe a half to a quarter of the fans stayed. Considering 78,000 plus people were there for homecoming, a quarter of them staying to watch the band is still a nice turn out. So yeah, Kristin left for the night with her friend from home leaving me to aimlessly wander til 3 in the morning. Fell asleep on the fouton, adn woke up at 1. I don't know why my body let me sleep for 10 hours, probably to make up for the fact I on average sleep approximately 4-5 hours a night during the week. :(
Midterms are going well. I think. I have more coming up this and next week. And 38 days until I come home for a few :D and 18 days until the grandparents come out for a visit. And more importantly, 222 days until Pirates of the Caribbean III
