I'm really sad right now because I found out that Katie isn't going to get to come to Belmont, at least not for another year. and that sucks. But at least it gives me someone to go see in Birminham, right? Now I have to worry about my roomate again. Turns out that there's a girl at work who is also going to Belmont and she's majoring in the same thing as me. She suggested we room together, but she wants an apartment (not a dorm room) and I don't really know her that well. I guess we'll see how that goes. Last night I went to Lydia's house and a bunch of us just listened to music and hung out. We eventually decided to watch Wait Until Dark. I had already seen it. In fact, I own it. But I hadn't seen it in a while so I stayed anyways. Let me just say- that movie is freaky. especially the ending. hmm.. Easter was interesting. Ate 3 different meals at 3 different houses, and I was stuffed by the end of the day. After eating at my Nanny's house (where my aunt bailed on the entire lunch, but what else is new), I went home and had a long discussion with my mom about what a horrible, mean, awful person I am to Davis. And after that long, informative, sometimes hurtful talk, I realized something very important; she's right. I can be so mean to him, and for no reason whatsoever. Sometimes he just gets on my nerves, and I don't really think there's anything wrong with that. I mean, I can't help it if he annoys me sometimes. But there is no excuse for me to treat him like crap because of those feelings, so I'm definitely going to be working on that. Monday I slept until 10:15, which was just great considering my first class starts at 8. What is up with me sleeping through my alarm so much lately? So now I have to do my homework for tomorrow and I really have no clue what I'm doing... Damien Rice will be on Letterman on the 14th, and I have instructions to be sure to watch. Apparently he's shaved his head and it doesn't look too great. We'll see. Two things I didn't know about him till recently- 1. He's very short. 2. He's 30?!?!? (or maybe it was 31... I can't remember.) Either way, I never would have guessed it.
This weekend should be lots of fun- Jump concert is on Friday night and then hopefully Heather and I get to visit Liz on Saturday and Sunday. Silly girl hasn't even asked her parents yet, but if she can't go then I guess I'll go to the Death Cab/Ben Kweller/Pedro the Lion show (if it isn't sold out). Maybe I'll see Aaron there. :)
