My new job

Dear diary,

now that I've been working for a week at my new job, it's time to tell you more about it.

First of all the job description is the following:

I'm a project assistant at Nokia Siemens Networks at Human Resource Compensations & Benefits,
Global International Transfer Management.

Right. What does this mean?

Means I still don't have my own PC or account or telephone.
Means I'm surrounded by women.
Means I've got a shit load of work to get through every day.
Means I have to learn a complete new terminology and processes.
Means I have to dig my path through a new data base.
Means I have to speak or read or write English about 75% of the time.

Means I really like it there. :D

We're doing all the work behind the scenes when someone from Germany is delegated to a foreign office or vice versa. Visa, contracts, benefits, job description. Whatever is needed for the process, we've got our fingers in.

Again I have a job that takes a lot more than just sitting around and looking pretty. I'm actually glad not to be a secretary any more. I liked my bosses and looking after them was great, but this new job is just my kind of thing. More content and a shit load of work, that leaves me without a dull minute the whole day long.
Me likes!
