And I thought it was my lucky day...

Have you ever done something really useless? When you were finished with it, you felt utterly sorry for wasting your time?
I'm not talking about work or some daily things like that.

Firday afternoon, while travelling home from work, I had to wait the tramstation. To fill the time waiting, I stopped at a bank, to get some money. While doing that I got a sms, that my parcel from Amazon had arrived at the Packstation. Went there, grabbed it and took the tram home, giggling. Yay! Lucky girl, or so I thought.

As I hadn't gotten any more than 5 hours of sleep each night since Saturday, I fell to bed as soon as I got inside and slept peacefully.
Woke up at 10 pm, went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. My contacts kinda burned a bit.

I honestly don't know what bit me, but I redressed (forgot that I still wore my toothprotection) and went out to the Olympiazentrum, for buying some tickets for Robbie Williams concert in August in Munich. At least, that was my plan.
They had a pre-sell, which was supposed to start on 0.01 am on Saturday. Arrived at around 10.45 and hey, there were loads of other people. Hundreds of them! All in front of me. Yay!

More and more arrived and we stood there, in the freezing cold, patiently waiting for the chance to buy the tickets. There was no chance to stroll around, because they put some kind of fence around us.
Then it started snowing.
My feet got colder and colder. I wiggled my toes to keep them from freezing.
Finally they opened the gates and people went in.

It took me two more hours to get inside the selling area. There were about 20 different ticket boxes and only 3 took an EC card (which is the most common "credit card"-thingy here in Germany, it comes with a bank account).

And there went my lucky stroke and left me. I had gotten 150,- € in the afternoon. Tickets for the arena (50,- €) were sold out.
There were only the expensive ones left. Those for 80,- or 87,- € for the seats. I needed 2 ticktes at least. I went to one box 80+80=160. Damn! 10,- € missing for a fast purchase.
So I queued at one of the three EC boxes. The bloody computer there didn't work. So after about 20 minutes, I queued at the other one.
That sold out and closed off! And no, they didn't took the tickets from another box there...
The queue infront of the third box was now containing all people from all three queues, with no hope to get my tickets. Then I thought hard about paying 80 € for a single concert.
I was freezing, I was frustrated and I was angry.
I went home.

It took me another hour to get home, waiting for the night busses and all.

Summa summarum: 5 hours outside. Cold feet. Jacket wet from snow. Frustrated as hell. And I overslept the sale starting 9 am at my nearest ticket box...
