I really need to get a real dressform. Mine suck.
I'd love to show off the pictures of the riding costume in progress. It's looking like one of my better pieces. Lots more hand-sewing than I'm used to, and the trim is taking for-ev-er, but it looks sharp.
I managed to sort of get one teaser:
So, imagine that with shape or something. Very full skirt, and the blue is a bit darker than the picture. I was going to put buttons at the end of the velvet stripes, but I simply cannot find enough buttons of any sort to do it. So the wrists will have buttons, as will the skirt. The skirt just needs to have the lining attached and a waistband. It's the bodice which is taking a lot of time.
