The first sentences of the first entries of each month:
Jan: January 1, 2007-- I was sitting at Olive Garden having dinner for my birthday with my family when my grandmother handed me a birthday present.
Feb: February 3, 2007-- I'm a grown up. You'd think I'd be able to handle this after all of this time.
Mar: March 3, 2007: Tomorrow's gonna be chock-full of state testing fun.

Apr: April 4, 2007-- When did I become one of those people that avoids phone calls?
May: May 2, 2007-- Monday I flushed my ID card down the toliet at work.
Jun: June 3, 2007-- Thursday was the worst field trip EVER.
Jul: July 6, 2007-- Back from California!
Aug: August 2, 2007-- Lots of changes since I last wrote and lots of goals- life and otherwise accomplished too.
Sept: September 5, 2007-- First day of school. Here goes nothin.
Oct: October 1, 2007--I don't like it here, I don't like being sick and I don't know what to do.
Nov: November 4, 2007-- Okay. So what do I do about guy across the hall?
Dec: December 7, 2007-- My classroom smells like grease, I I joined the PTA, I got a fantastic new scarf and I am only writing this because I am too exhausted to get dressed and drag my ass to work.
