Title: Road trip!
Rating: G
Word count: 410
Warnings: ... Really bad writing?
Characters/Pairing(s): Fuji Yuuta, Saeki Koujirou, Fuji Syuusuke, Mizuki Hajime, Saeki's dad. =D
Notes: Van seating! So, there's the driver and passenger upfront, then two two-seaters and a three seater at the back, but that normally has all the luggage. Or something. =D
The seating arrangement had first been based on the boys' preferences, and everyone wanted to sit next to Yuuta.
There is a lot of shuffling and Saeki-otousan is forced to intervene. His initial decision is to put Yuuta into the front passenger seat and be done with. Then he notices a flash of dangerous blue eyes from the elder Fuji's direction and quickly hauls him off instead. Yuuta is shoved, flustered protests and all, into his son's lap. It seems to be the most healthy choice; the other boy in that heinous lilac sweater is twirling his hair and 'nfu'ing under his breath in a way that reminds him of strange men with candy, so with Koujirou, Yuuta is most likely to survive the journey unharmed and unmolested.
He does not recall the day the Fuji family moved away, and seven-year-old Koujirou running after their car shouting promises of ever-lasting love to the younger boy. =Db

Mizuki is upset.
He can barely see Yuuta in his peripheral vision from here. Also, Fuji may or may not be staring at him through the rear view mirror, and it is so creepy that he doesn't dare move much. But! Mizuki is, if anything, sneaky. (Or something.) From his manly purse-like bag, he whips out a hand mirror and pretends to check his reflection, discreetly so Yuuta wouldn't notice.
Upfront, Fuji twitches, and starts plotting both seniors' ultimate, cactus-related demise.
Yuuta sits with his arms folded around himself, sulking. His cheeks are still somewhat pink - he is apparently, constantly surrounded by embarrassing idiots - and he tries to sink further into his seat because really, Mizuki and his devious ways are inconspicuous like Sanada in an orange tutu. He ends up leaning a lot on that things directly behind Mizuki's seat. Mizuki happens to know that thing is one Saeki Koujirou.
When they had finally settled down, Koujirou had chuckled, and reached an arm around Yuuta's shoulders to ruffle his hair, much to the grumpy boy's chagrin. That arm is still there, draped across Yuuta, who doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he wriggles in his seat for a more comfortable position before tucking himself into Koujirou's side with an acquiescent sigh.
Mizuki glares and fumes under his breath.
Yuuta squeezes his eyes shut and hopes for sleep.
Koujirou grins out the window, triumphant and gloating.
Upfront, Fuji prepares to put his diabolic scheme into action.
Saeki-otousan keeps his eyes pointedly on the road and tries not to grimace.
The journey ahead shall be most eventful.
I amuse myself so. =D
