Recently Upgraded my rig.
Lian Lai Case with 4 80mm case fans
Intel core2dou e6300 1.86ghz
2gb Corsair XMS ddr2 667mhz
Asus P5n Sli nforce 570
PNY Geforce 7600GT 256mb PCIe
Seagate 160gb Sata
its a real nice system. Runs everything that i want to run like the FPS's that i like to play. now i can really multi task better with many programs open. It definitly runs quieter than my old rig. The one thing that is the loudest is the video card fan which is loud especially on startup. It also runs cooler thou i'm bit worried about the cpu temp still.
Went to Philly this past weekend. The philly suburbs I have to say is really boring. unlike new york or toronto it seems just plain empty even on a saturday. Haven't really browsed around downtown philly yet so have yet to see how that place is on a weekend night. The area is still a nice place to live. Want to go and check out Morimoto's resturant that is down there as well. One thing i didn't realize was that it was the same weekend as Pockycon 3 of which i missed the first 2 already.
Speaking of Morimoto's, he now has one open in newyork on 10th avenue i think between 15th and 16th. There is also Tribeca Grill that i want to try out.
Also still recovering from a freak injury to my wrist. I think i bruised/sprained it last weekend playing softball. I slid into 3rd base into the 3rd baseman. At first I thought i bruised my shin since it hurt alot but in the next inning started to feel discomfort in the wrist. Thankfully it didn't affect my swing. of my swing in the final game of the summer i finally got my swing down. Went 3 for 5 with a single, double and a triple a run scored and a rbi. which is good numbers. last time i had numbers like this was in the first game of the summer. didn't have a good summer season thou loosing all the games we played. Number of factors pointed to it but you can only do so much by yourself. if the pain still persists thou i have to go to the doctors to get it checked to make sure its no fracture or dislocation thou from what i've been told as well read that there is no signs pointing to it. Football season started and can't wait. only because with people that i play with i know i can dominate :P Had a little preseason of it after the softball game and we all seemed rusty. thankfully my throws were pretty accurate thou some were off due to bad decisions.
