That was interesting. Got to the airport on time, ready to fly back to the Frigid Rockies, got in the line to board... and the flight was overbooked. Not just overbooked, but they were offering two hundred dollars, the value of a one-way trip, and priority standby on a flight tomorrow if any passengers were willing to not take that flight. He's out of the hospital now, where they kept him overnight for observation, and they think the chest pains were unrelated to his bypass surgery before Christmas. As an aside, I have just realized that I do not actually REMEMBER all the states of the US I have been to. I know some I haven't- Alaska, Washington, North Dakota- but after that it all gets a bit fuzzy.
