I didn't set a 50 books challenge for myself the way Forest did. I know that I probably wouldn't have gotten as many books as I did if they weren't mostly rereads. I just needed mental comfort food, apparently.
Also, there's a double handful of graphic novels, but I'm only going to put a few of them on this list. Not that they don't count to "books" I've read, just that I didn't track most of them. Also, some of the graphic novels were pretty dire and I don't want to memorialize my time with them.
A Gentleman's Game by Greg Rucka.
The Blood Knight, the third in Greg Keyes' Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Black Dossier by Alan Moore
The Martian Race by Gregory Benford.
A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin.
First volume in the hardback New X-Men collections, by Grant Morrison.
Last Call by Tim Powers.
Death Masks by Jim Butcher. Twice in the same year, I think. This is notable because the first time I read it, I came away hating Jim Butcher's writing with a passion. I gave him another try later, and then reread the whole series. Either I was in a very grumpy mood the first time I read the book or Butcher just grew on me, but I am something of a fan these days -- although I know Butcher is not the greatest writer, he does entertain me more often than not.
Blood Rites by Jim Butcher, Dresden Files #6 (also, twice).
A Feast For Crows by George R.R. Martin.
The Dying Earth, by Jack Vance.
Player of Games by Iain M. Banks.
Dead Beat, by Jim Butcher (twice this year).
Private Wars by Greg Rucka.
Proven Guilty by Jim Butcher.
Albion by Alan Moore. (And his daughter, and a couple others. Not worth the time.)
White Night by Jim Butcher (twice again).
The Subtle Knife, by Phillip Pullman.
Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson.
Smile, You're Traveling by Henry Rollins.
Small Favors by Jim Butcher (not twice, since we didn't buy the hardback).
The Curse of Chalion by Lois Bujold.
First Meetings in the Enderverse, by Orson Scott Card.
Missile Gap, by Charles Stross.
Inside Straight, edited by George R.R. Martin.
Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett.
The Dreaming Void by Peter Hamilton.
Young Miles by Lois McMaster Bujold. This is a compilation of her novel The Warrior's Apprentice, the novella the Mountains of Mourning, and the novel the Vor Game.
Cetaganda by Lois Bujold.
Dune by Frank Herbert. An annual reread.
The Born Queen by Greg Keyes
A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett.
The Dosadi Experiment by Frank Herbert.
Borders of Infinity by Lois Bujold.
Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett.
Brothers in Arms by Lois Bujold.
The Dragon Prince, by Melanie Rawn.
The Star Scroll by Melanie Rawn.
The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein.
Reality Dysfunction: Part I - Emergence by Peter Hamilton.
Serenity, by Keith R.R. DeCandido.
Making Money by Terry Pratchett.
L.A. Confidential by James Ellroy.
Storm Front by Jim Butcher.
Fool Moon by Jim Butcher.
Grave Peril by Jim Butcher.
Summer Knight by Jim Butcher.

Sunrunner's Fire, by Melanie Rawn.
Mirror Dance, by Lois Bujold.
Backup, by Jim Butcher.
The Lies of Locke Lamora, by Scott Lynch.
Memory, by Lois Bujold.
That comes to around 57 books, if you count reading and rereading some Dresden Files books this year. Not too shabby.
