wonderful wednesday
today is the third day of school and i've been through four out of five mods!
gotta say i'm loving all my marketing mods this sem!
actually i only took 1 marketing mod last sem but still... it's good to be majoring in something that i like!
and marketing is sooooooo much easier than sociology. haha!
but i still love soci lots la. haha.
anw SMU is really so small...i'm running into sooooooo many people around school.
but then again, maybe it's cause i'm Year 3 alr!!
oh anw, Emily's in my Marketing Research class!
okay, no one else will know who Emily is besides me hahaha!
she was my group mate for CAT in Year 2 Sem 1.
so after class, Phoebe and i were hanging around the benches and i noticed her speaking to Tim, my Nego groupmate in Year 2 Sem 2!
shortly later, she came up to me and excitedly said, "hey Jana, guess what, Tim received Christ last week!!!"
honestly, i was taken aback when she told me that cause i didn't expect her to tell me that... i mean, why would she suddenly tell me that when I've been out of touch with both her and Tim?
then i remembered that during one of our long nights after CAT meeting, Emily and i took a bus together and in that short bus ride, she had shared with me that she was a backslided Christian and lately she felt that she couldn't rely on her strength anymore. I had encouraged her to go back to church, and told her that it's never too late to call on God again.
she said she would do something about it and somehow that convo just slipped my mind...
i didn't follow up with her, much less asked her how her spiritual walk was.
1.5 years later, she's now a strong Christian and so passionate for God!
not only that, she had been evangelising to Tim and he's finally accepted Christ and is also on fire for God.
i'm just soo amazed and thankful that God used me to speak to her then, even though i probably made only a small difference... still it mattered!
awesome right? haha yeah, it made my day.
somehow there's this desire burning within me to get to know God more...
i'm not sure how to respond, but i will answer His call.
waiting on God isn't the easiest thing to do... but i will try!
