Oct 14, 2005 03:35

A friend of mine posted this on Myspace. If you go to the link you click on the panel on the right and you can find a location by state. Hopefully I can make it to the one in NYC:

"Call to all worthwhile people!!! Join Ga State, Spellman, Georgia Tech, Morehouse, Ga Perimeter, and dozens of other schools nation-wide on Nov 2 for a walkout to drive out the Bush regime, and call for the demands of basic human and civil rights. Hit the streets Nov 2 in downtown Atl to have our voices heard.

The nation-wide walk out start at 11 am till whenever you get your busy behind to Woodruff Park (located on Peachtree St. near the intersection of P'tree and Decatur). The rally will begin at 1pm in the park and speakers, and performances go all afternoon.

Visit www.worldcantwait.org to learn more about the momentum building behind a student-lead revolution. RIGHT HERE IN ATL!!

BE PART OF SOMETHING GREATER THAN YOURSELF, MAKE CHANGES WHERE CHANGE IS LONG OVER DUE.... DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME AND END THE RIGHT WING AGENDA!!!!

IT STARTS WITH ONE PERSON.... YOU."

Think about it...

Really, just say screw it, don't go to school, tell your teachers even, they'll probably admire you for taking a stand.
