Title : Edge of Darkness
Production House : Warner Bros Pic.
Director : Martin Campbell
Genre : Drama, Suspense, Tragedy
Runtime : 117'
Release Date : February, 1st 2010
Format : General

3 reason why I have to watch this movie:
1. It's action, gore, and tragedy
2. It's nothing much about romance and opposite lovey-dovey stuff for the additional..
3. It's Mel Gibson!

This is remake of 1970's BBC mini seri drama with same title. Though, it's more with drama and suspense than the action which is the main content of the story. Mainly talks about Thomas Craven, Boston district's detective who investigate for cases behind her daughter's death.

Scenes : 8.4
Well, not too special with the place of scenes. But they had decided their best. And I wonder how they found the place for the nuclear research company on U.S.

Music : 8.5
Standard Hollywood suspense music, and not too special. But it fits the scene well, and best for the music's ending scene ;w;

Story : 9.1
As expected from the best mini seri drama of BBC at 70s. They did well for the pack of 2-hour-long of the story, even though there were some plot hole that haven't been explained yet. I love it from the beginning until the end.
But I dislike all-died ending ;w;

Character Development : 9.2
Best part of the movie. Some people said that the best performance of this show is Ray Winstone (well, he did awesome role for Jedburgh) than Gibson. But as I said, this is the best part. Every character has been explained enough and they made the portion well, as Thomas Craven that they made the portion mostly. I love how it flows from the beginning, the battle scene, suspense aura, and touching feelings between Dad and Daughter.

Overall : 88 ( A- )

Conclusion : Nice 'welcome-back' stuff, Mel!
Recommended for : Suspense and action-gore drama addicted
No for : children and people that dislike 'thinking' movie
