TAIWAN WAS AMAZING PART 3
you´ve reached part 3~ congratz!
TW was amazing part 3:Taiwan round trip: Taipei >Taizhong >Tainan> Kaohsiung >Penghu Islands
of course Taipei was the attraction my trip, but don´t forget the other parts...I also went to
Taizhong and Kaoshiung as well as Tainan and the Penghu aka Pescadores Islands
of course i would have liked to visit more places, but we had not time and NO MONEY! AH!
TAIZHONG (Taichung) wiki
this city is located in central Taiwan and is the place where my friend studies and that is why we made a stop there
he and his friend showed me mainly their university campus
and it was pretty hot that day (but no suprise in fact) and well the traffic is suicide there....we hardly could
across the street to get into 7ELEVEN..

the next day we visited Tainan where a school friend had her home
she was so nice and we spent the night in her house...her and her other friends eileen
provided a nice roundtrip with their little motorcycles^^
well that was the Tainan clan..lol ^^ on the right eileen, the girl with the glasses is my friend´s school friend^^
aww when i think about it i become sentimental...aww nearly one month ago already!! ^^

and one more thing...the mama of elma (the girl where we stayed the night over) was a kindergarten teacher, and she asked
if it s possible for me (and the rest of the clan) to vivit the kids...at first i was a little bit irritated,what was the purpose of this qquestion? but soon i found out...not everyone likes lil children, but me ^^ so
the next day, we went to the kindergarten and said hello to the children...they were sooooo cute and sooo shy
the mama wanted the kids to see a western girl, because proberbly they´ve never seen a girl with blonde hair, tall and blue eyes before...the kindergarten teacher asked the kids in chinese (i understood some, ut my friend also translated it for me) "what is different at her appereance?....ohh....different hair...different skin color" and so on, and it was soooo cute...
they were so shy and later we took pictures ^.^
that was also a great experience

Kaohsiung was awesome! this city located in the very south offers the Tuntex Sky Tower , which is the highest building in Kaohsiung, and it was the highest until 101 was finsihed
of course i went up the tower ^.^ to have a nice overview ^-^
we spent there the whole day and the next day we went to penghu islands from kaohsiung´s harbour~

Our last destination was penghu islands to relax, to make holidays and to forget all school stress...
at that time we did not know that in the end this trip turned out the most stressful...but let me begin at the beginning:
with a ferry (which needed like 4-5 hours to get there) we arrived there and on the first day we went to a beach...
that was cool....but the enxt day should turn out even better
eaaarly in the morning we left for a special beach, where they offer "waterplays"...i donno how to call it, it was
very cool, we drove banana boat and some other cool things, where one was connected to a jetski...that was great
but due to the windy weather (and cloudy, but still hot) we could not go paragliding >__>
well later we decided to take a walk on the beach...
it was a dream beach, with ultrablue water and white sand...and suddenly the sun came out...and that was my bitter end...
it looks harmless right? it looks like paradise...but it brought me to hell...
because...at first there was no sun, then we decided to take a walk o the beach, the sun still din not appear and then later
when we were already too far away from our bags, the sun appeared and i GOT HEAVILY SUNBURNED!
no joke....i was dying the next week...i have never ever in my life had such a heavy sunburn in my life
of course i lotioned my body...but it already dissappeared and i didnt renew it...so as i said that was my end...and maybe also my mistake because i was so naive and didnt think about possible danger to appear (caused by the evil sun)
so in the end i had fortune in the misfortune...
that night my body was sooo red and sooo hot that i could not sleep...i wrapped myself in wet towels, but it was still hard to bear..
i could hardly sleep 2 or 3 hours...in the middle of the night a heavy storm started...i knew
that must be the taiphoon, which was heading to lilttle nice taiwan...although i knew about the typhoon to come, it did not think
that the typhoon would influence our region so much, because the eye was heading to the north of the islands and we were in the far west....well i thought wrongly...now i´ve informed myself about the typhoon "Kalmaegi", which ravaged during my stay...
so...why i was fortunein the misfortune? because that day we should already leave the island, but before we would have made a nice trip and making some last sightseeing...but of course it turned out that we could not leave the hotel and had to stay the whole day in our room, because it was too rainy and stormy outside...and in the end i kinda was happy about not having any activity that day, because i could not move either....my whole body, with every step i took, was hurting and burning like hell..so i was only on the bed and tried to sleep some more....nonstop the TV was airing the consequences of this taiphoon and news didnt stop to tell the latest news, but i couldnt understand either, just looking at the pictures...so i still needed like 3 or nearly 4 weeks until this heavy sunburn was totally recovered...i tell you that was one of the worst pain i´ve ever experienced...and the sunbrun in combination with that evil typhoon totally destryed the whole trip...but nevertheless it´s a memory that i will never ever forget!!
SO...you finally reached the end (congratulations if you, in the end, read all of my entries...9
I now worked 3 days on all entries and coulndt watch any drmas, which i will do later then
of course i could tell so much more, there is alot i did not tell, but i tried to concentrate on the most
important things, and think about experiences that you might interest
as a conclusion I can only recommend Taiwan of course, it´s a beautiful country, with so much
culture, so many nice people, and it offers you diversity, you´ll never get tired of it, and i didnt even see alot, because
there is much more to see....one day i hopefully will return ^.^
thank you all for your interest and your kindness, i hope i could bring a piece of taiwan to your home
and could convey this country to you guys~
