about the hard drive thing HELP ME TO DECIDE!!
OKIE~ update on this...
My dad checked it and we made sure, that although we now have the right cable (well not the original one,but it agrees to all the contitions the other one also had~) so..this hard drive thing, doesn´t even react...
normally it has to make a lil sound, but no...still no function..the weird thing my PC now makes this special sound (u know this sound when u insert a USB cable...) and it says "hard drive disk found" but i cant click on it, nor in "My Computer"
so now I have 2 choices HELP ME!
CHOICE 1:
These Computer guys from the shop said they can open the disc and transfer all data to another disc...but that would cost 20€
but whatever i don´t care about the money,the most important is all my graphs music and pics are saved!
Afterwards they close the disc again and send them to the manufacturer,because it has still a gurantee (of course AFTER JUST 3 WEEKS!!!) They fix it,and I get My Money (which was about 100€,pretty much) back,and everything is fine...so far!
BUT...it´s not said that it works! it CAN be (these PC shop guys said) that the manufacturer notices that the hard drive has been opened already,so the gurantee would expire and I see my 100€ never ever again...so I lost my data AND 100€ >___> in the worst case!...WHICH SOMETIMES CAN HAPPEN,they said, but mostly they don´t notice it...MOSTLY!!
CHOICE 2:
I send the hard drive to the manufacturer and get my money back...data ALL lost, but secure of the money~
that´s it!
My dad said he soon wants a descision, because he has to manage that all~
I said, still gotta think bout it, but i truely don´t know! ;__________;
THAT IS EXAAAAAAAAACTLY the situation I wanted to avoid by buying a hard drive...
god bless nearly all important and nice graphics i made during the last past years were uploaded here,so i still have them!
so what to do? ;________;
ps: i would´t die if i don´t get the data back, but i just downloaded AYUMI COUNTDOWN which took me ALOT of time in the wait
loop,till it was my turn......and all MUSIC!! i never know if i EVER get them back..and like i´ve said, i had so many AYU and LEEHOM pics...OMG and rainie...wahhh don´t wanna think bout that~
