Enough rambling for now.

I think I might leave my job. Not the theatre one or the one with Frogstone Houseworks, the part time leasing one. The job itself isn't bad, it's all the drama. There is always drama. It's so hard to get a day off when I need one. Of course, I realize that I only work two days a week, but seriously. We got the tech schedule for Peter Pan and we have tech all day Friday, so I need the day off. Even though it's been pretty average and they haven't really needed me on Fridays (I've been given the awesome job of calling people and erasing clubhouse cards), they won't let me off on Friday unless they have someone else to fill in. I let them know as soon as I could and it was a week in advance; that's the best I could so in the situation. So, I just emailed my boss since I hadn't heard from her about it and she says that they're waiting to here back to see if this other girl can be there instead. Well, I can't change the tech schedule now if I wanted to. I could have changed if I had heard back from them any day of the weekend or even maybe Monday, but not three days before tech. So, I find myself faced with the situation that if they don't want to let me off, that I must quit my job with almost no notice or really mess up the tech schedule for the show, which is much more important to me. What can I say? The only reason I am still at this job is because I don't want to leave them right before their busiest month of the year. Otherwise, I would have already given my notice. I start my new job (Frogstone Houseworks) on August 1st! Yeah. But I am still going to stay at the current one through August for their sake and maybe stay on for Saturdays through the fall; well, I was going to before this. Now, I just don't know. How terrible is it to quit without two weeks notice? I've always given tons of notice to my employers.... I wish they could just make it work out. Oh well, we shall see.
