So let me let you in on what has been commandeering my time for a few months now. It's what I do in front of the TV, or when I have some free time. I dont know if you want to call it my "newest obsession" or what have you but regardless it's what I've been into lately when I'm not traveling.
They're eye shadows. I've made the colors, mixed them, named them and pressed them. Essentially I've been slowly starting my own makeup company. I have a total of 25 colors in loose pigment format and I've been selling them to co-workers and friends/family for the past few weeks. The one in the picture above are the ones I've been able to press. I've also made swatches:
So I've sectioned off a part of my room where I mix and toil under lamps, put in containers and mix some more. I play with the colors, test them on myself and use them when I go out to have people ask me what I'm wearing and I've sold there on the spot. The most bizarre one was my waitress at a Greek restaurant who wanted to know what green shadow I was wearing (I Recycle) and she loved it so much I sold one there and there (I carry a set with me, look;)
