Her Lies
by: Isabelle Hernandez

I no longer believe in fairy-tales
Distant tales of eternal love
Fate that shakes you
Pain that breaks you
Takes you were you’re lost in fright

Say the story with its creases
How she loved the way he fucked her
How he loved her in his darkness
How she’d never loved him back

Make her state her own defense
For we’re tired of the lies
Because she loved the way he fucked her
Even looked into his eyes

Show us the blurry, blurry lines
Shades of gray in foggy nights
Because she loved the way he fucked her
Don’t you dare believe her lies

She will loose him, even miss him
Love, constrict, will ask for more
Shadows play across her features
Never will she admit the loss

She’ll love the summer in her bed
When his warmth is never missed
Because she loved the way he fucked her
Pleasure will her hands fulfill

Make her state her own defense
For we’re tired of the lies
Because she loved the way he fucked her
Even looked into his eyes

Fluffy Wife
by: Isabelle Hernandez

Let me show you I can smile
Let me show you I can laugh
Let me show you I can love you
Even if it takes your life

It’s all lies, what they’ve told you
I really am an open girl
An emotionalist and a fatalist
All wrapped in floral dress

I can be un-condescending
I can be your perfect wife
I can dress in fluffy aprons
Serve you beer on Sunday nights
