Summary: Isabella learns a lesson
A/N: Written for the

It was in the meadow that Isabella learned a man need not be cruel in his pursuit of pleasure. She learned she need not be afraid of it herself. Robin Hood taught her that in the course of a single stolen afternoon.
He taught her that touch could be gentle, full of promise, not pain. Kisses didn't have to hurt, fingers could caress without bruising. A man she didn't know, who didn't know her, showed her the true meaning of pleasure.
The bright sun warmed her skin as she learned. High meadow grass hid them as Robin taught her these lessons. She savored them, urging him on with soft touches of her own. And when he finally came into her, she gave herself up to his care, let him teach her to fly up and touch the warm sun.
Despite everything that came later: his betrayal of her, his judgement, her own enmity, Isabella kept the memory of that afternoon close, like a precious gem. It was the one thing she could never hate him for, the lessons he taught her in the deep meadow grass.
