As she scribbles and scribbles all through the night

She had to run some errands. "I'll be back in ten minutes. You two can chat and.. catch up or something," she smiles at them. "Ok," they responded. She left her lover and her sis alone in the apartment. Behind closed doors, she saw the whole scene. They started to talk casually, each sharing a piece of their life with the other. Each time he laughed and smiled. Each time she laughed and smiled too. He stared intently into her eyes, she could feel him in hers. She was happy for once. He was as happy as Isabella had made him upon their first meeting. They talked, and talked, and laughed, and laughed, and smiled, and smiled. His heart began to flutter as their mouthes ran on, non-stop. Her heart began to sink, as she realized what greatness her younger sis had found and so soon, "Why couldn't i find someone as great as him?" His eyes began to readjust, "This woman is so beautiful. She makes me so happy. Didn't think it could get better. But i think it just has." As they speak, their voices become sweeter, he says such sweet and considerate things to her, she blushes and replies sweetly. Isabella was never mentioned. Thought of only in her sister's guilt-ridden mind, "Oh no, please don't love me, please don't love me, please don't l--" Suddenly she found her in his arms. He was smiling sweetly, holding her. She melted and smiled. They both sank holding each other, smiling, they drifted to sleep. Isabella walks in, 70 minutes later than she had promised. She opens the door slowly, and she sees her lover and her only sister, laying on the futon together, so peacefully, smiling, clothed, and spooning. Isabella does not scream, she only cries, mouth quivering, so quietly only her tears were felt hitting the glazed wooden floor. Isabella looks down. "i.. thought... Love.. but they're so happy. They have so much more to share. I... can't.. let them not be together, i just couldn't. Never seen my sis so happy in my life," Isabella smiles now, tears streaming, "and if she can make him as happy as i could, i know he'll be fine." Isabella breathes in slowly, exhaling just as slow. She retraces her steps slowly, smiling at them smiling, backing out of the apartment, closing the door and twisting the key.

Isabella's eyes spring open. Her heart is pounding in her throat. She looks down and across to the couch, her sister is sleeping there, clenching her pillow tight. Isabella sighs. "If I could find true love, I would sacrifice it to those who need it." Isabella walks over to her sister and spreads a thin sheet over her, tucking it slightly, kneeling down and pecking her sleeping sis on the cheek. She gazes down as her sister stirs only slightly, to nuzzle into her clenched pillow and reveal a beautiful and pleased smile. Isabella smiles too. "I love you." She heads over to their only window. Below she sees the vastness of green rolling hills against the white, graying, rain-filled sky. She inhales deeply, smiling, smelling the fresh rain, chilling her lungs, chilling her heated heart. "I'll sacrifice perfection to this world, so that those worthy, will get their just end. My justification comes only through their precious smiles, revealing a completed soul." Isabella cries for the happiness she wishes she could provide to others and to herself.
