Philippine Independence Day Parade
Got into the city around 11. Hung out around the people marching. Took pics of the fam, the car, etc, etc. When it started we watched from the sides. Uh... Saw the dude we saw yesterday at that church thing. Then Ding Dong Dantes. LOL at the picture I took of him!!! He's got an ugly face / nice body, so I blocked the ugly. LOL!!! Then my camera died. :( Anyway, eventually made it to the grandstand, where I set myself a comfy seat behind the VIPs on the scaffolding. I'm probably in all the pics people took of the VP and Senator / Congressman. Hahah... Anyway, met up with Jennie and later Roscel, Angelo and durlxnemesis. Then Aures and the friend. Lol. We were just standing by a trashcan, waiting for Roscel to come back with her food and some woman was like... Did you eat? Wait here... HAHAH!!! The perks of being the "Family of the Grand Marshal." We didn't get into the VIP section. But hey, free food! We then watched a few performances. One being Cling Cling. Then sat in the park.
Anyway, we left around 5 and drove from around Madison and... 20ish (?) to the Marriott Marquis around Time Square. Dad's legs were cramping up and he was telling me to drive... WHAT!?! Mom ended up driving. Anyway... Looking for parking. OMG!!! Seriously! Freaking highlight of my day!!! I see Alan Cumming! He then crosses in front of our car. He turns a moment and I wave. And what does he do??? He waves back. HAHAHAH!!! Loves it!!! Anyway, Dad sat around the hotel, Mom, Aunt Pitat and Dr. Santangelo ate.
The 2009 Tony Awards
I walked to Radio City. I was there around 5:30 and there was already a crowd. I did end up snagging a spot at one of the 2 limo spots. But... It was the back of a lot of people's heads... Most people just got out of their cars and went onto the red carpet without even turning to the crowd. In all honestly... I felt most people were there because... Ooh award show, vs being actual fans of bway.

Tired. Surprisingly happy, even when I was packed like a sardine to look at the back of people’s heads. I saw Alan Cumming!!! HAHAHA!!!
