Rushed and recapped...
Saturday. Made our way to Queens, then into the city. I got screamed at for taking a pic of the Cast Listing... No photos in the theater! He then whispered I can take a good shot after the show... But the thing was the door was opened to cover it and it didn't seem like they wanted to wait for the crowds to clear... Flash blurred out his name. :( Anyway...

In all seriousness... It was better than I expected. I had surprisingly no preconceived notions on Daniel Radcliffe, having never seen a Harry Potter. I did see him in My Boy Jack and... I guess it was OK. I guess seeing it on stage is better than the cheesy early 70s furniture of the movie. Searching the web... Sad to see there is no change in the horses. Horse no. 4!!! I want to have your babies!!! Lol. Anyway, long story short, I liked it more than I expected. And have to add... The parts of the movie I did see... It seemed like Dan Rad was imitating Peter Firth. 7500centfish said he's no different from Angsty Harry Potter. Anyway... Disappointed. They made an announcement they don't come out after Wed and Sat matinees. So... No accosting Dan Rad. Oh... And cause people have asked... They didn't miss much... I mean literally. sparkyboy said you can't blame him for being in a cold theater. And... It was not simulated sex! There was no thrusting! Lol.
Oh and I guess I should explain Equus? It's basically about a confused kid. Mother strongly religious, father an athiest. Kid, growing up, becoming a sexual being... Being obsessed with horses... This chick brings him into the holiness of holies to have sex with him... He freaks out... Blinds the horses. Actually it's about the p-sychiatrist treating him. About him being jealous of Alan cause he has the passion he lacks. So... He'll treat him, make him better... Give him a normal life... But why would I want a thing like that? Who needs reasons when you've got heroin? Sorry... The whole end speech reminded me of the opener in Trainspotting. Anyway, I didn't completely understand how... He was now a horse, bridled, not free. 7500centfish mentioned... Something about how is he saner than anyone he treats. I mean, he is a psychiatrist... They are either crazy or turn out crazy...
Afterward we went to some Korean Karaoke place! It actually had songs I liked! I sang some Robbie Williams, Rick Astley. About the only bway thing I attempted was Being Alive from Company. Uh... What else... We initially paid for an hour, but wanted more, but then were kicked out cause people were waiting. Ew... I didn't get to sing ABBA...
Pushing Daisies. Lol. Surprisingly, with the addition of the collar, Lee Pace was no more appealing. But then again, I don't have a thing for him... I'm still hoping for Raul Esparza to show again... But then I heard b/c of Speed The Plow, he was no longer available and he was written around? Written out? I made copies for 7500centfish... What's happening with the whole Chuck smells like death thing??? Anyway, it was an amusing ep.
Oh... That reminds me... Aures wants to see Speed the Plow for JPiv. Me for Raul of course... Then they want me to see Spring Awakening... After seeing Equus... I still think I'm too prude for SA. Equus didn't seem too controversial in that sense to me. But like I said, I haven't seen SA so...
