Where do I start?
Ah yes. Thursday. Clinic. It was supposed to be a new clinic in a new building that was still being built when I was in ObGyn. Anyway, I go there, they're like are you supposed to be here? Wait... So phone call... I hear her telling patients the clinic is elsewhere. She doesn't bother to tell me... Anyway, I ask. It's on the 2nd floor... So I go. Oh... It's in the "new" building and not the new new building... Anyway, since the pt's had to be directed as well, we didn't start till 9. But... Hehe... I kinda felt like a doctor! I mean, she gave me my own room, my own patients. I had "access" to the computer... I mean, I still can't counsel patients or know the plan and can't order anything... But I got my own room! Like I said, with the exception of the one patient with Alzheimer's. I don't see a real difference between geriatric and IM. Well... The fact that they cease to do thing cause there's no point cause they're gonna keel soon... But seriously... I had a patient who was 93, 82. Completely independent. Scary... Anyway, I don't know if she was secretly annoyed with me, but, I thought I did well. Seriously, making connections I didn't make before... Guy with prostate Ca, mentioning back pain, weight loss. Mets? Asking Qs relative. Plan was eat what he wants. If no weight gain then work up for Ca. About 100% of men over 80 have prostate Ca, but it's unlikely to be the thing that kills them, so there is not point in treating it. Anyway, she let me loose just before 2 for lunch, but told me to leave for the day cause I put 5 hours in. I said I was supposed to be there till 5 PM, but she's like 5 hours? Ok.

No freaking way! I recruited someone on Altarholics! Mattboy16. I mean, the only place I really pimp is on a Grease Board. The main guy there is a Matt... But then I look on the Member's list. Rockville Centre!?! Is it that guy on Grease? Oh yeah, it's definitely him... I mean, his SN on MySpace??? But haha... I've been known to make things up, like the person that visited my MySpace from Astoria who wasn't my cousin was Zach Hanna...
Haha. Altarholics are annoying. I personally don't do that challenge cause I don't want my SN posted all over the internet more so than it already is...
Oh yeah, forgot to mention... So I bumped into Chris G again. Guy who was in the group after me in KCHC. Anyway, bumped into him again in ObGyn (he was doing Neuro) and now again, doing pulmonology. He asked me if I was doing the Match this year. Kinda... Anyway, yeah, awkward...
